Shepherd’s pie

Published by susie34668 at 2:14 pm under Uncategorized Edit This

My husband told our customers a week ahead of time, when I was going to make my homemade Shepherd’s pie.

He got 38 orders for delivery and I had to deal with the customers in the shop.  I had one person, helping in the shop, and no one else to help him.

He took around 10 meals at a times.  Then he didn’t come back.  The next thing I had was a phone call from a customer, saying that he was in a really bad accident, in front of their store.

I left everything and ran up the road.  The estate car had been completely crushed on the driver’s side by a 350 Ford truck.  They were in the medium.

All I could see was that my husband would have got the full impact and blood everywhere.  The paramedics were taking the top of the car, with the jaws of life.  I didn’t think that my husband had made it.

When I got close, one of the paramedics told my husband to put up his hand, to prove that he was still alive.

He was rushed to the trauma unit 35 miles away in a helicopter.  A lady, who I really didn’t know, offered to take me to him.  This is when you know that there are truly good people around.
