Yet another day in our restaurant and it was extremely busy.  We had several big parties and everyone was rushing around.

Just before closing time, the telephone rang, and it was a customer asking if we had found her false teeth.  Can you believe she had taken them out to eat her food and wrapped them in a napkin.

Our bus people stacked the plates, silverware, etc., and then cleared everything else in the trash can.

My hubby and I rolled up our sleeves and went through all the trash for that day.

We did find them and phoned her.  She was so delighted.  We had to go home and have a shower as we felt so dirty.  Can you imagine what her teeth were like? 

Even clean, I wouldn’t have wanted to put them in my mouth.
