The day our local NBC channel came to the restaurant put us on the map.   It was channel 8 in Tampa Bay that arrived around 9.00 a.m. on a sunny day in July.

Steve Overton and his crew quickly settled in to eating everything we put in front of them, interviewing customers, including the Chief of Police, and many of our friends.

My husband collects hats and Channel 8 put one up on the wall so we ended up with around 700 in total.

That night we were featured just before the 6 o’clock news and our lives would never be the same again.  We were called the Englanders and a quaint little English restaurant.  What more could we ask for.
