We had hoped and prayed that my daughter would want to stay in Florida, but when the time came for her to make a choice, she opted to go back.

She had one semester at college left and would stay with my parents during that period.  In my heart I wanted her to come back after completing that.

She met a guy and made the decision to stay in England.  She found a job and continued living with my parents until her money came through, from the death of my first husband, and the insurance policy I had taken out for her.

I was sad but knew that I had to get on with my new life in America.
