My husband had family in Tampa, Florida, so we arranged for a visit 5 months later. This was to see if we really did like America, as much as we remembered it.

Tampa was so different from the west coast, but better in other ways. We got to go to Busch Gardens, Disney World, as we had already been to Disney Land. We visited the wonderful beaches of Clearwater, St. Pete’s, and other smaller ones.

The shopping malls were amazing and the supermarkets so big, with much more variety than England.

The parks were huge and so many with lakes or on the water. This made us even more determined to live in America.
